What do you love about Science?
This week, the College has been celebrating Science Week.
As part of this, each of our Chapel services have had a Science theme. In the Primary school, we have been blessed to have one of our Secondary Science teachers Mr Schultz, come and share with us the wonders of God’s creation, which he has encountered and studied in his time as a scientist.
We were reminded that, as we marvel at science, and how amazing our world is, we can also marvel at God, who Christians believe created and sustains the whole world. For our Secondary Chapel, some of our students and teachers shared what they love about science in a video.
From the space and the Periodic table, to the physics of a perfect penalty shot, it was wonderful to be reminded just how amazing science is, and how amazing the God is behind it all.
Last week our Head of Science, Mr Jones, also shared why he is passionate about both science and being a Christian and how science helps us to care for the world that God has given to us.
Classes leading chapel
We have loved having some of our Primary school classes lead our chapel services over the past few weeks. It is wonderful having students share their gifts and creativity with us as we worship God together. Parents and carers are always warmly invited to join us for our College Chapel services.
The details are as follows.
- Junior Primary (Years Prep – 2) – Tuesday 8:45am, in the Middle Primary foyer.
- Secondary School – Wednesday 8:45am, in the VCE building.
- Upper Primary (Years 3 – 6) – Thursday 8:45am, in the Middle Primary foyer.
God’s blessings to you and your family.
