Parents and Friends Committee

We would like to extend a huge thankyou to the students, teachers and parents of Bunyip Primary School for our Colour Spectacular Fun Run.

We will announce the final tally raised in the next newsletter, but it has exceeded our expectations which will mean that we will be able to replenish the school sporting equipment to a greater extent.

We loved seeing the smile on the students faces, and are ever so greatful to the parents who assisted with the set-up and pack-up. Some of our volunteers spent the majority of the day at school organising all that was required, and packing up afterwards. One lovely volunteer cleaned the slime off all the things slimed. We could not do these type of events without the assistance of volunteers, and as the saying goes "more hands make light work".

The Bunyip Op Shop is running low on shopping bags to give to its customers. The Op Shop has been incredibily gererous to Bunyip Primary School with a donation for us to purchase items for a community pantry, so we are hoping our school community can help repay the favour in a small way.

If any families have unwanted, clean shopping bags that they would like to donate, they can be let in the designated box (which will be ready from Monday the 11th of September) outside room 4 (breakast club room), or directly to the op shop.

It's not much, but its a small way we can say thankyou to our wonderful Op Shop for their support!

We look forward to seeing you all back in term 4 four our next fundraiser and end of year celebrations. Hope everyone has a lovely school holiday period with their children.
