LIVING WATERS OSHC NEWS

Hi families and friends,

We hope this finds you all safe and well. Who can believe we are well into Term 3 already? Time sure does fly when you are having fun.

It has been a very exciting beginning to the term for us, as we embrace all the amazing changes that have come our way so far! I am sure you have all noticed many new faces to our team and we hope to continue to see more as we strengthen our partnership with the community supporting our young people enter the workforce.

LIVING WATERS OSHC Program

Mr. Bunny and Mr. Marvin (Coordinators) have been working together and have taken a lot of time to review our current program and practices and are looking forward to the future ahead. It is our goal to ensure that families and children can have a very valuable input into children’s learning and experiences, and we wish to share the journey with you. Please keep an eye out for our program books that you will find on the parent information table. Here you will find weekly updates of highlights and memories, we have also turned our hall whiteboard into a wishing wall were parents and children can write on and let us know what they would like to have at our OSHC service.

Vacation Care

It is almost that time again to start planning for our next vacation care program. We hope that children enjoyed our last program, we have really appreciated everyone’s kind words and support.

Moving forward we are always ensuring that we are doing our best to minimise costs and maximise experiences. We are seeking any ideas from children and families in preparation for the next program. If you would like to share with us, please send through an email to livingwaters.oshc@ynt.org.au

Notifications

Please remember to inform us if your child is going to be absent, you can do this preferably by using the Xplor app or calling on the centre phone 0438 549 778 / 0447 245 873 if no one answer please leave a message.

Thank you to all families who have done this, it certainly makes our afternoons so much easier 😊

It is our policy that if any child is absent unnotified, and we are not able to contact families to confirm the child’s whereabouts, a missing child report is made by contacting the police.

Menu

Our current menu is under review 😊, again we encourage our families to share any suggestions to this process,

What foods does your child like to eat?

What food selections would you like to see more of?

Do you have any menu ideas?

We are also seeking multicultural food ideas, that we can easily prepare at our centres.

We are looking forward to hearing your ideas.

We hope you all have a great day.

Your ASP OSHC Team.
