Write a book in a day 

Write a Book in a Day is a fun and creative team writing competition that the students in 5/6 Green participated in last Thursday.

·       It involved a collaborative team effort where students plan, write and illustrate a book

·       Every story grew from a unique set of parameters given to each writing team

·       The book was completely written, illustrated and published from 9am until 3pm

·       These books have been shared digitally with children in hospitals across Australia

All entry fees raised have gone towards scientific research to discover better treatments and ultimately a cure for children with cancer. Our students in 5/6G not only enjoyed working collaboratively to create these picture books, but they will now use these books to create activities and comprehension tasks for other children at St Francis Xavier to enjoy.
