Micheal Dolce visit

We were successful in obtaining a CAPA grant from the CSO to bring Michael Dolce to St Mary's College.  Michael is the lead guitarist on The Voice Australia and has over 30 years experience in the Music industry.

Micheal presented his 80 minute Q&A presentation to all students in years 7 to 10 in the STX Hall on Monday 4th September after morning briefing.  The first half of the session placed emphasis on growth, determination, initiative, resilience, courage, attitude and perseverance.  The second half focused on Micheal's experience as a session guitarist on The Voice.  This tied in well with the work we have been doing on The Resilience Project and was a once in a lifetime opportunity for our students.

Here is the link for your perusal.

Throughout the day Michael also hosted workshops with our elective music and guitar students.
