Foundation 

TERM 3, Week 6

In the Foundation space, we have been learning about colourful semantics. In our writing, we have been learning to include a 'who', 'what doing', 'what' and 'where' in our sentences. To help us think of ideas we have been closing our eyes and choosing a card to tell us the 'who', 'what doing', 'what' and 'where'. Sometimes these sentences can be nonsense sentences and they don't make sense. We have to add some extra words to make the sentence make sense. For example, if we had mechanic, sleeping, volcano, in the distance we would add some words and turn it into 'The mechanic was sleeping in the volcano in the distance.' 

 

Reminders

Just a reminder that students are not to bring toys to school. This is to prevent upset students when things get lost or broken.
