CURRICULUM FOCUS

We are learning to design and create our own Rube Goldberg Machine. These machines are a great way to see all the forces that we have been studying in action. 

VOCABULARY

Design: A plan or drawing produced to show the look and function or workings of a building, garment, or other object before it is made.

Machine: A device used to make work easier.

Engineer: A person who designs, builds, or maintains engines, machines, or structures.

When creating your machine make sure it has parts that have:

• Pulleys
• Ramps
• Lever
