VCE VM & TSC

VM Showcase Evening
The Years 11& 2 VM will be celebrating their year in VM at the VM Showcase on Thursday 12 October. Students present their favourite projects to their parents and school leaders. This is a wonderful night of celebration for our VM students and their dedicated teachers.
Parents and friends are invited join the students to view the showcase and enjoy some finger food in the Trade Skills Centre on North Campus on Thursday 12 October from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.
Senior VM Welding Incursion
Our Years 11 & 12 students have again been blessed by the wonderful Stuart Ellam (Bayside parent) and Justin Mason coordinating welding incursions. This is a sensational opportunity for our students to learn valuable life skills and help to build an outdoor aviary to be used at the school. We are truly blessed to have parents give so much to their school community.
ELC Visit to North Campus
The wonderful ELC director, Fiona Mitchell organised to bring the 4-Year-Old ELC class to the North Campus to visit our growing population of animals. Our Year 12 VM students cut wattle branches to give to the students and helped them feed the baby goats. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children and parents who joined them. We are looking forward to hosting the ELC students again next term as we have a look at the trees that our VM students have planted to feed the Moonlit Sanctuary koalas.
Pantry Plus Working Session
Our Year 11 Certificate II in Active Volunteering students filled the newly constructed garden beds at Peninsula City Church’s Pantry Plus. This project has helped to strengthen our community partnership with this wonderful organisation. These garden beds will be used to grow crops for the Pantry Plus program so that fresh vegetables can be given to families struggling to put nutritious food on their tables and can also be used to cook amazing meals for the same program. Thanks so much to Ben Kelly and Justin Mason for helping to build and facilitate this project.
