Spare Clothes

Over the last couple of weeks we have handed out many changes of clothes to students.  If your child has brought spare clothes home, please wash and return them as soon as you are able.  Our supplies of small underwear are almost exhausted.

We recommend that younger students have a spare change of clothes in their bags for emergencies.

Change of details

We are in the process of updating Student Details, with Years 3-6 already completed. When you receive your child's Student Details form, please take a moment to check that all the information we have on file is correct.  Mark any alterations on the form, or simply sign to indicate all details are correct, and return it to the school office.

If you have recently changed address, phone numbers or work details please contact the office to ensure we have the most up to date information recorded.

Please also remember to update Melissa in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) if your child attends there.

Current COVID Guidelines

We have had enquiries regarding what to do in the event that a student tests positive for COVID-19. According the DET website, the following recommendations are made:

COVID-19 in schools

It is recommended that students or visitors who have symptoms of cold, influenza or COVID-19 undergo testing for COVID-19. Parents of symptomatic students should be asked to collect their child from school and keep them home until they are no longer symptomatic.  It is recommended that students who are symptomatic or are a household/social/close contact of someone who has COVID-19, use a rapid antigen test.

The Department of Health recommends that students who test positive for COVID-19 isolate for a minimum of 5 days and do not attend school until their symptoms resolve.

Schools must treat health information, including positive COVID-19 test results, in accordance with the Schools’ Privacy Policy. COVID-19 diagnoses are not to be shared or discussed unless the individual (or their parent/carer) provides consent, or unless schools are legally obliged or authorised to do so.

When to wear a face mask in Victoria

We recommend wearing a mask:

  • for at least 7 days if you have COVID-19 and:
    • you need to leave home
    • you are indoors, or
    • you cannot maintain physical distance
  • if you are a close contact and you need to leave home
  • if you are visiting or working in a sensitive setting such as hospitals and aged care facilities.
