Acting Principal's News

Miss Susanne Jackson

Dear Parents

This week we celebrate all that we have achieved throughout Term 3, 2023.

Congratulations to all of our community for working so magnificently together to support our students. It has been such a pleasure to work with you throughout the term, sharing our learning and for special celebrations. The Father’s Day breakfast, Family Fun Fridays, Excursions, Parish Athletics and Masses have all been wonderful opportunities to gather together, ensuring all in our community feel a great sense of belonging.

Thank you to all of our parents for working in partnership with us throughout the term. The quality of the engagement in learning and the quality of the relationships between home and school have been a testament to you all. We cannot thank you enough for all you have done.

Thank you to our amazing staff who have gone above and beyond, working tirelessly throughout the past term to ensure every student belongs, connects, and grows in their learning. I am so privileged to work with such a dedicated staff and thank each of them for their brilliant efforts.

We concluded our amazing term of inquiry learning with our Learning Expo today. Students have been learning about the concept of Curiosity and have been engaging in various investigations to deepen their skills and dispositions. Well done to all of our students who have worked hard to continue to flourish in their learning.

Don't forget to read our Learning & Teaching page to learn how you can continue to support your child's learning over the holiday break.

A couple of reminders ~

Don't forget to complete our MACSSIS survey. These were emailed out to all families on August 28th and we would appreciate your feedback.

We have our annual Footy Day on Friday. Students are invited to wear their footy colours and will engage in some footy activities during the day.

As we go into the term break, please take the time to make moments matter and just relax and enjoy health, wellbeing and our families. We finish Term 3 with our end of term assembly at 12:30pm on Friday and students will be dismissed at 1:00pm.

Term 4 commences on Monday 2nd October.

Take care and I look forward to continuing on our journey together in Term 4.

Yours in Partnership,

Sue Jackson
