NSW State Cup Touch Representatives

Kambala Touch players were well represented in the Eastern Suburbs and UNSW Souths at the NSW State Cup Championships held in Wagga Wagga.  It is a testament to the strength of the Kambala touch program that we had the highest representation of any girls’ school.

It was exciting to see five of our Year 4 Junior School girls make their debut  for Easts in the Under 10 division.  The girls had a great tournament progressing to the quarter finals. Congratulations to Elodie McMillan-Bush, Montarna Mikelsen, Allegra Smiles-McCabe, Ava Pyne and Annabelle Murphy.

In the 12 years Eastern Suburbs team, Francesca Brown and Georgie Ross showed their track speed is an asset in Touch with their side progressing to the  quarter finals! We are thrilled to announce Georgie has been selected in the Rebels Representative squad for the NSW Junior Regional Championships.

Lola Joffee - NSW and Australian Representative Softball

To start 2026 on a high note,  she was a member of the NSW team that  won the Under 16 National Championships in Perth in January, she then returned to Sydney to play for Australia in the  Under 16 team in a four-game series against the Under 18 New Zealand  team. She gained selection in the NSWCIS Softball team and will play at the NSW All Schools Softball Championships on March 9.

Sailing off to a Great Start

It’s been a fantastic start to the sailing season for both our Junior and Senior School students. It has been especially wonderful to see the Kambala sails back on the water, a proud and inspiring sight for our whole community.  Our Junior School sailors have embraced the season with confidence and excitement, building skills, resilience and a love for being out on the harbour. Meanwhile, our Senior School team has hit the ground running, demonstrating strong leadership and focus as they refine techniques.

We look forward to an exciting season ahead and can’t wait to see what our sailors achieve next. Go Kambala!

Congratulations Pippa D Sze- WEC Ocala Winter 2026 - Equestrian

Recently Pippa competed in the Winter Spectacular Show Series (equestrian) at the World Equestrian Centre in Ocala, Florida.

Competing overseas at this level marked a major milestone for a junior rider. Throughout the experience, Pippa’s performance continued to improve, along with the discipline, responsibility, and structured routine required to compete successfully on the international stage.

Pippa placed 1st and 3rd for two separate jumps.

Netball Pre-Season Underway

Our netball pre-season is officially underway and preparations for an exciting season ahead are in full swing. As part of our build up, we have partnered with KRB to deliver joint skills sessions for our Year 7 and 8 students. It has been wonderful to see the girls collaborating, building connections with our neighbours and developing their skills in such a positive and supportive environment. With four sessions still to come, we invite any interested Year 7 and 8 Kambala Netballers to join us.

We have also commenced our Term 2 and 3 grading sessions across all year groups. The energy, enthusiasm and commitment shown at each session have been fantastic, and we are already seeing great progress.

We look forward to an exciting season ahead and can’t wait to see our teams take to the court!
