NEWS AROUND THE SCHOOL

We are excited to let you know about a fun fundraiser the Grade 6 students will be running this year to support their end-of-year graduation.

The Grade 6 students will begin selling Zooper Doopers this term, running through till the end of term 1 and again at the end of term 3 and throughout Term 4. 

Zooper Doopers will be sold every Friday at lunchtime for $1 each, with all money raised going towards the Grade 6 graduation celebrations at the end of the year. This fundraiser provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to work together, take responsibility, and contribute towards an important milestone in their final year of primary school.

We thank you in advance for your support and encouragement of our Grade 6 students. Please remember to send along a gold coin on Fridays if you would like your child to take part.

AUTISM WORKSHOP

Positive Partnerships are running a FREE government funded autism workshop for parents/carersin Sandringham on Thursday 19th March 2026.  

This workshop is for parents, unpaid carers, grandparents and kinship carers to learn about autism and ways to strengthen the partnership between home and school.  (Please note: your child does not need a formal diagnosis for you to attend).

Dates: Thursday 19th March, 2026

Time: 9.15am-3pm

Location: Sandringham Yacht Club

                 32 Jetty Road, Sandringham

The workshop will cover the following topics:

• Diversity of autism
• Understanding sensory processing
• Working together.

Free morning tea and lunch will be provided.
