Did you know that our school runs a wonderful Fruit Program for all students?

We are proud to offer fresh, seasonal fruit to support healthy eating habits and keep our students energised and ready to learn. Eating fruit every day helps growing bodies stay strong and focused in the classroom.

 

Please note that families are still to send children with Brain snacks, recess, and lunch daily. This is here to supplement growing bodies when they are still hungry and would like some extra food/healthy fruit. 

 

Some classes have bowls of fruit in their room and there is extra fruit available around the corner from the wellbeing room. 

🍏 What’s on the Menu?

Our fruit selection changes with the seasons to ensure the best quality and freshness:

  • Apples – available all year round 🍎
  • Bananas –available seasonally 🍌
  • Oranges – available seasonally 🍊
  • Pears – available seasonally 🍐

🌱 Why a Fruit Program?

Our Fruit Program aims to:

  • Encourage healthy eating habits
  • Introduce children to a variety of fruits
  • Support student wellbeing and concentration
  • Promote positive attitudes toward nutrition

Healthy snacks help students stay focused during lessons and active during playtime.

 

We encourage families to continue promoting healthy eating at home and to talk with their children about the different fruits they enjoy at school.
