School Crossing Supervisor Awards!

Is your local school crossing supervisor the best? Now is your chance to recognise their dedication and nominate them for the School Crossing Supervisor of the Year award!

These awards, hosted by School Crossings Victoria, provide a wonderful opportunity for us to thank our local crossing supervisors for ensuring Maroondah students and families have a safe and enjoyable journey to and from school every day.

Judging is based on the following criteria:

• Professional demeanour and presentation
• Working knowledge of road rules relating to school crossings
• Welcoming, caring, supportive and encouraging attitude to all users of the school crossing
• Helpful, informative, and clear guidance on correct use of the crossing
• Involvement in the school community
• Attendance and punctuality

We encourage your whole school community to get behind your supervisor and show them how valued they are! Nominations close on Thursday 30 April.
