Interschool netball

On the 14th of June the year 5 and 6’s went down to Boardman Stadium Sunbury. We all had a great time and enjoyed it very much. Macedon Primary had three teams, We had a girls A team. (Year 6 girls.) A girls B team. (Year 5 girls.) and finally the boys B team. 

The boys played very well in the games against Willowbank, New Gisborne, Saint Bridgets and Braemar. Unfortunately they lost all their games, despite all their losses they were still positive and encouraging throughout the day. The boys B team had a wonderful coach/ teacher Miss Slater, the boys B team showed brilliant skill, talent and passion. The boys B team contains

Harrison C, Connor L, James P, Levi F, Rupert R, Archer B and Josh M

The year 6 girls A team unfortunately lost all their games against Willowbank, New Gisborne, Holy Cross and Breamar. The girls had a great day even though they lost, everyone showed great sportsmanship and were encouraging to their teammates. Even though the girls had lost every game they still played amazing, getting quite close to winning against Braemar by 2 points. In the girls A team; Ivy D, Darcy S, Remy L, Martha B, Holly B, Arwen J and Paige B. Thank you to Mrs Slater for organising the Netball teams and Ms Pitt for coaching the girls on the day.

The year 5 girls B team played against Mt Macedon, Holy Cross, New Gisbourne and Breamar. The girls won against Mt Macedon and unfortunately lost the other three games. The girls played amazing throughout the day and showed amazing sportsmanship when winning as well as losing. The people on the year 5 girls B team was; Yuka P, Maggie M, Indi M, Lucy R, Monique P, Clio F and  Zara G. Thank you to Bern M for coaching the B team.
