Koala Fundraiser - 20th June

This term, the year 1/2 classes have been learning about reducing, re-using and recycling in order to make a difference to our environment and our native animals, in particular, Koalas. The students have been learning about if we are wasteful with our resources such as paper, this can have a big impact on our native animals’ habitats. The year 1/2’s have completed some great work learning about Koalas including factual projects, non-fiction booklets and a little book on the iPads using a program called Book Creator.

The year 1/2’s are holding a fundraiser for the Koalas and the money raised will go to a local animal rescue The Wildings Woodend Wildlife Shelter who are caring for injured Koalas in our local area.

What and When: “Bring a stuffed toy animal to school day and make a gold coin donation” this Thursday the 20th of June.

Thank you for supporting us with this fundraiser,
