Principal's Message

with Mr Ben Morgan | Principal (Acting)

Dear Families,

As we approach the end of the term and the winter chill sets in, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible resilience and engagement our students have shown over the term. Despite the cold mornings and wet-weather lunches that come with this time of year, our students have continued to demonstrate a strong commitment to their learning and personal growth. Our Parent/Teacher Conferences were extremely positive and highlighted the way that our John-Paul II community works together to get the best outcomes for our students.

We were fortunate to have Toni Hatten-Roberts, an expert in the science of learning, visit our school recently. Her insights and expertise have greatly benefited our staff, enhancing their professional development and ultimately improving the learning experience for our students. Toni will continue to visit our school for staff coaching and mentoring throughout the remainder of the year.

As we head into the final week of Term 2 we wish Whitney, our school counsellor, all the best as she commences her maternity leave. Whitney provides amazing support to our students and staff and we look forward to seeing her soon. CatholicCare is in the process of recruiting a replacement for Whitney, before a thorough handover process takes place.

Let's continue to support and motivate our students to finish strong as we enter into the last week of term.

Ben Morgan
