Fete News

Save the date: Friday 15th November:  4-9pm

Thanks so much to those who attended our Fete Meeting last Tuesday, many hands do make light work. Our next meeting is Tuesday 30th July at 7pm in the Staffroom - all are welcome as we do need more helpers and it is a great way to get involved in the school.

 

Stall Holders

Some stalls still need an organiser. We have been holding fetes for a very long time, so for most stalls there is little to organise. We are able to suppport and guide you, we just need a contact person who can offer some help. If you can help out please contact the office:

  • Fair Food
  • Coffee Cart
  • Souvlakis
  • Side Show Games

Big Wheel Hampers

The tubs are now in the classrooms for the Big Wheel prizes. If each student could provide 2 gifts, one for each tub and relevant to the Hampers theme, that would be great. It is an oportunity to empty your cupboards of those new items that you have been holding on to, not sure what to do with, the gifts given with love, not used and now you can share with the COHR Community! If you have items for a tub that is not in your child's class, please feel free to hand it in at the Office and we will put it into the right tub.

The themes for each class are:

  • Prep - Animal Lovers & Summer Fun
  • 1/2 G - Gents & Girls Fun (for ages Prep- Yr 2)
  • 1/2 H -Gourmet Food & Boys Fun (for ages Prep - Yr 2)
  • 3/4 G - Christmas & Gardening
  • 3/4 I - Ladies & Boys Fun (for ages Yr 3 - 6)
  • 5/6 C - Christmas & Sports Mad
  • 5/6 G -  Cooks Kitchen & Girls Fun (for ages Yr 3 - 6)

White Elphant

The Big Wheel prizes are new items, if you have used items in good condition, hold on to them and we will be calling for them later in the year.

 

RSA

We require some adults who hold an RSA to help out at the Bar. If you can please contact the office.

 

Stage

Do you know of any groups that may like to come and perform on the stage? Groups need to be organised and have an adult organiser whom we can liase with. If you know of anyone - please email the fete -

 

Plant Stall

If you have a green thumb, please be planting seedlings for our our Plant Stall.
