Principal News

I would like to begin this newsletter submission with a big congratulations to our students who recently represented Banyan Fields Primary School at regional level.  Well done to Yash finishing 61st in 12/13 boys, Eva finishing 36th in 12/13 girls and Belle finishing 42nd in 12/13 girls. We are very proud of the efforts of these students. Thank you to Mr W who has been supporting our participation in interschool Cross Country this year. I would like to encourage students, staff, and families to come along to running club every Wednesday morning.

Over the last few weeks, I have been visiting Digi Tech classes with Mr Bailey. It has been incredible to observe our students building their skills in coding through throughout the term. The lessons that I have seen this week have been a great celebration of this learning with students applying the skills that they have been developing to move robots around.

I would like to again seek the support of our school community to put the word and the good vibes out to our local community about our fabulous school.  It is that time of year where we are keen to get enrolment forms submitted for Foundation so that we can start planning for 2025. I have included some persuasive writing examples from 4C where they were writing to persuade a potential new student to come to our school. I am so pleased and impressed to see how much 4C love our school.
