Blessings

While we have been adapting the change of weather, what a blessing the rain has been!  I have not had to remember to water my garden.  The glimpses of sun that cut through the clouds.  One of the days that I look forward to is the 21st June ... an odd date - but it is the shortest day of the year.  After then I know that the days increase in length and the sun is in the sky for longer by a smidge each day - another blessing.

Thank you again for the feedback that you provided through the parent survey over the last few weeks.  We had responses from 106 families who represented a cross section of our school community.  This data will be combined with that from the board, staff, students and church.  Our team will work through all the data and pull-out key focus areas, some will become part of the Strategic Plan and others will form part of operational plans (Education, Building Master Plan, Business Plans etc).   Your voice in this, the future of our school, is valued.   In time, I look forward to sharing with you some of the initiatives that come out of this data collection.

This week I have been blessed by reading many encouraging comments from all areas of our school community.  I have been blessed by the smiles that I share with students and families at school drop off.  By the challenging conversations that have made me think.

May you find some blessings this week too.
