Family Maths Afternoon

A big thank you to all of the families who came to the 2024 Family Maths Afternoon last Wednesday, 23rd October! Children and families all enjoyed themselves as they participated in the activities.

Three lucky students also walked away as winners:

Raph (1/2DS) won the F-2 prize

Emily (3/4H) won the 3-6 prize

Luca (1/2SM) won the jar of lollies, after correctly estimating that there were exactly 168 in the jar!

Another big thank you goes to the Maths Olympiad students who attended to help run the scavenger hunt!

Finally, my last big thanks is for all of the staff who attended the event, and helped to make it a huge success! Many staff also helped and supported me in the lead up to the event by attending committee meetings, making resources, making things look beautiful, planning activities or suggesting ideas, setting up and teaching the games to the students.
