REGIONAL ATHLETICS

Caris wins Gold!  Caris had qualified in 2 events at the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Athletics championships that were held last Thursday.  In the 100m, Caris finished 7th with a time of 14.70 seconds.  In her more favoured event the Discus, Caris won gold with a throw of 26.50 metres - winning by 3 metres.  Caris now continues to compete at the State Track and Field Championships at Lakeside Stadium on November 6th.  We wish Caris the best of luck and are very proud of her amazing achievements so far.

Dina qualified for the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Athletics Championships by winning the Monash Waverley Division Triple Jump recently.  Up against very tough competition, Dina still managed to jump a personal best of 7.93 metres, placing her in the top 10 in this event.  Even though did not qualify for States, we are so proud of her achievements in this event in 2024.  Congratulations Dina, outstanding performance!
