The 25 students that stayed back at school participated in a variety of school-based camp activities. The students made sandcastles, campfire handcraft, leaf craft and drawing, as well as watching a movie in the classroom.
Lower Secondary (Years 7-8)
The 7/8’s have been gearing up for their Travel Training excursion. This week we will be travelling to the Highpoint and a Community Walk. We will be focusing on using our MYKI, reading bus timetables and being safe and respectful on public transport.
During Inquiry, we have been focusing on our environment. Students have planted 4 snap pea plants and have put one near the window, cupboard, shelf and in a dark place to see how they grow. Students have been watering the plants and writing reports of the progress.
Students also had the reptile incursion. Students got to learn about different animals and how they live and where they live. Students then got a chance to pet the animals and take photos.
