From the Principal

Celebration and the journey that awaits

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and congratulate the graduating Class of 2024.

Our Year Twelve cohort has served GSG with distinction and has been an exemplary example of our school values in action.

We are very proud of each one of them and there is much to celebrate.

Their warmth, their approach to inclusion and the spirit of connection among each other expresses our desire to be a school where everyone is included, safe and has a deep sense of belonging.

Sharing a meal with the Year Twelve leaders this week, I asked them to sum up GSG in one word. This is what they said:

  • Respect
  • Integrity
  • Inclusion
  • Belonging
  • Place
  • Nature
  • Haven
  • Growth
  • Together
  • Connected
  • Opportunity
  • Community

Our Year Twelves have reached significant milestone and an exciting juncture in life; they have so much to look forward to.

Our prayer is that they may go out into the world, be a light to others, serve their communities well, and seek purpose and meaning in all they do.

News from the Primary School

It is with great excitement I inform the community of the expansion of our Primary School.

Due to increasing enrolment demand, a second Year Six class will be added to the School in 2025. This is in addition to a second Kindy class announced recently.

This enrolment growth represents confidence in Great Southern Grammar to deliver a quality education with a focus on personal academic success, strong pastoral care and meaningful learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

Go well
