Are you looking for an outside of school activity for your teenagers? Then the AAFC is for you!!
The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) is a youth oriented organisation that is administered and actively supported by the Royal Australian Air Force. The AAFC will teach you valuable life skills and will help you develop qualities including leadership, self reliance, confidence, teamwork and communication.
Some activities undertaken by the AAFC include flying, fieldcraft, adventure training, firearms safety training, drill and ceremonial, service knowledge, aeromodelling, navigation and gliding.
Our fundamental aim is to foster qualities that will enable cadets to become responsible young adults, who will make a valuable contribution to the community. No matter what career you choose, the AAFC provides a foundation of knowledge and skills that will assist you towards your future.
All cadets must be aged between 12 (13 by the end of this year) and 16 years of age, and be an Australian Permanent Resident to join.
312 Squadron are based in Kempsey, at the Kempsey Military Depot in South Kempsey. Currently we are located at the Kempsey Airport Flying Club. We parade each week of the school term on a Thursday night, from 5:30pm to 9:00pm, and have numerous weekend activities during the year!
We will be running an open night at the Kempsey Airport Flying Club, Aerodrome Road Aldavilla. This session will be run at the following date and time:
28th November at 5.30
Please bring a water bottle, hat and some money for our canteen.
