Empower Young Women

The aim of the Workshops are to empower young women as they start their transition into the adult world.  Workshops are facilitated by Greta Boadle from Nambucca Valley Circle for Girls and will cover topics such as dealing with tricky social situations, using assertive language, recognising your values, taking responsibility for yourself, enhancing self esteem and building each other up with an interactive and creative program.  We have a guest speaker from the Coffs Harbour Bypass Team who will tell their story about the challenges of working in a non-traditional industry and how they navigated this, along with their career journey.

Workshop will be held at Kempsey High School on Thursday 12th December. The workshop can accommodate 15 students.  Workshops will run from 9.30am – 12.30pm with morning tea provided. Please see the Careers Officer Mr Rix for more information.
