Book of the Month
Hi everyone,
Term 4 has been buzzing as usual, we have many of the senior students studying for final exams and SACs along with our usual crowd of regulars. Our shelves are crammed with new titles and our regular manga readers are lining up for the next instalment in the series they are reading.
We continue to encourage students to access their Functional Solutions accounts and the Google Classroom for the library. Students can check their loans, reserve books, or search the catalogue for new items to read. To gain access students simply use their student code, for example (ABC0001) using the password ‘student’ or use the QR code below.
Use the QR code or the classroom code to join our Google Classroom. 5d7qree
Our Book of the Month selections for October connect with the student’s interest in the Rugby World Cup we have added three great books to our non-fiction collection.
These books are packed with photographs, player profiles, history, game stats and much, much more. We are looking forward to our Rugby fans exploring these titles.
As the year winds down we are once again asking you to remain vigilant with the search for overdue books. We wish to thank those parents and carers who responded to our phone calls and followed up on long overdue items, however we still have a large number of items outstanding and would like to see them returned to the shelves for other students to enjoy.
We are open before and after school, during recess and lunch, and after school and we are always busy. Don’t forget, homework club runs in the library from Monday to Thursday and teachers are in attendance to assist students from Monday to Wednesday. If you need assistance with a task, to catch up on homework or do revision there is usually someone here to help.
Melinda, Will and Andrea.
