Principal's Report
Mr Alan Devine
Dear Parents, Carers, and Students,
We’re already well into the final term of the year, and it’s been an inspiring start! Last week, we celebrated our Year 12 students with a Farewell Assembly, honouring their hard work and achievements as they head into exams or into work. We wish them all the success they deserve and look forward to celebrating their graduation soon!
Earlier this term, we also hosted our much-loved Cultural Picnic, a highlight of the school calendar. This event truly captures the spirit of Staughton College, with students proudly sharing their cultures and talents through performances. It was heartening to see students take such active roles, not only showcasing their talents but also organising and running the day. Our diverse community shone brightly, reminding us of the unique strengths each culture brings to our school.
Our focus is fully on High Expectations with High Support this term. Maintaining high standards is key to fostering student growth, and our staff are actively working with students to reinforce the following expectations:
With everyone’s support—students, staff, and families—we can create a positive environment where every student can excel and finish the year strong.
Kind regards,
Mr A Devine
