Teacher Appreciation Day is a time to acknowledge the dedication and effort that education and support staff put in throughout the year for our students. To mark the occasion, the P&F has organized a coffee van and light refreshments.
A “lounge basket” has been set up in the Staff Room, filled with an assortment of goodies generously donated by parents and families for all staff to enjoy throughout the rest of the term.
The P&F wants to thank everyone who contributed donations and all the incredible volunteers whose efforts made this special day possible. A big shout-out to Todd Lucas and Barry Plant Manningham for their generosity in providing the coffee van.
Lastly a message to all Milgate Staff:

DISCO NIGHT FOR MILGATE PRIMARY STUDENTS
Get Ready to Groove!
We are thrilled to announce an exciting disco night exclusively for Milgate Primary students! This vibrant event will give students the opportunity to hit the dance floor with their moves, enjoy their favourite music and have some fun with their peers. Organized with the support of our dedicated parent volunteers, this fun-filled afternoon and evening promises to be an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to see our students boogie and light up the dance floor!
Event Highlights
- A live DJ spinning all the latest and greatest hits to keep the dance floor buzzing
- Face painting for the junior session and temporary tattoos for the senior session
- Photography provided by our wonderful parent volunteers to capture and cherish memories throughout the night
- A water station for students to stay hydrated during the event
Session Times
Junior Session: Foundation - Year 3 | 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Senior Session: Year 4 - Year 6 | 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Pricing | Online tickets: $10 each (closing date: 07/11/2024), available via Try Booking
Tickets purchased on the night: $13 each (Only Visa, Mastercard, or Debit cards accepted, NO CASH)
Music | Students are encouraged to nominate songs for the session by completing the Disco Song Request Form, closing date 07/11/2024
Entry Information | The disco will be held in the school stadium with two entry points. There will be four registration counters based on students’ surnames. Students will be required to check in at the respective counter to have their name marked off. They will receive a stamp and can enter the stadium through the entry points when doors open.
Important Notes
- No parents are permitted in the stadium (with the exception of registered parent volunteers).
- In the event of inclement weather, a backup registration plan will be disclosed closer to the date.
Entry Gates
- Gate A: Entry for surnames A-L near Top Oval/Synthetic Soccer Pitch closest to Serpells Rd.
- Gate B: Entry for surnames M-Z located near the music room closest to Landscape Drive.
Exit Information | All children must be collected from the stadium by an adult. For safety reasons, no child will be allowed to leave without adult supervision.
Team Kids | If your child is attending after-school care and would like to join the Disco Junior Session, please register Kate Mancarella and Dave Mander as a contact with permission to collect them from the service and take them to the disco.
