Spiritual Connections
Loving God,
We lift our hearts to You.
Behold, you make echoes in our hearts:
“I make all things new!”
Renew our lives, cleans our spirits, and guide us with Your love.
In Your loving transformation, may we find strength, hope, and everlasting joy.
Amen.
5/6 Class Mass This Friday
There will be no parish Mass this Friday as Fr Uday is unavailable. Therefore, the Senior Unit will not be attending Mass as scheduled.
Bloke's Breakfast
What a great turn out we had for our Big Blokes' Breakfast last Friday morning. It was wonderful to see the children spending precious time and enjoying breakfast with their dads/grandfathers/significant men in their lives. It was the perfect start to a very big day with the school athletics following. A huge thankyou to everyone who was able to attend and we hope it was the start to a weekend of celebrating everything our dads/grandfathers/significant men do for us.
Thank you also to our volunteers who helped cook and serve the food for breakfast.
A special thankyou to the Tatura Lions Club who came early and helped cook as well. We are very grateful for their commitment to serving the community in so many ways. The Lions Club will be back at Sacred Heart on the last day of term to provide a sausage sizzle for lunch. This will also be a fundraiser for the Lions Club to raise money for childhood cancer – a separate notice will be sent out about this. We ask your support of this important cause.
Sacramental Program: Sacrament of Confirmation and Eucharist
(A separate PAM notification with further details regarding the Sacramental Program will be sent out shortly)
The Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist will be taking place at the end of November. Currently, we have a number of children enrolled to receive the sacraments as part of the sacramental program - from earlier in the year when they made their First Reconciliation.
If you would like to discuss your child taking part in the program, please contact Tony McDonald at school, or email at; tmcdonald@shtatura.catholic.edu.au
In order to receive the Sacraments, children need to be baptised or received into the Catholic church and have made their First Reconciliation.
