Student Leadership
Dear Saltwater Community,
Over the course of Term 3, our Secondary student leaders have been meeting every Monday to discuss and share areas of concern within the school community and explore innovative ways to capture and amplify student voice and agency.
To further develop their leadership skills, all JSC, SRC, and House Captains will begin participating in the YLAA 2024 LeaderUP Post Event Program. This program is designed to build on the leadership foundations they had already developed, pushing them to think critically, communicate effectively, and work together to solve complex challenges.
Our goal for the remainder of the term is to identify issues and problems our school and broader community face, explore their possible causes and pinpoint opportunities to bring about change.
