Last week the students made a yummy Chick Pea Curry, see below for the recipe.
Chickpea Curry
Ingredients
- 300 gr chickpeas
 
- 50 gr diced tomatoes
 - 100 ml coconut milk
 - 1 tsp spice mix ( ginger, garam masala, cinnamon, coriander, cumin)
 - Crushed garlic
 - Splash of lemon juice
 - 1tbs vegetable oil
 
Method
- Heat the oil on medium heat
 - Add the spices and let them bloom for a few minutes (to release the flavour and fragrance)
 - Add the chickpeas, diced tomatoes heat for a few minutes
 - Add the coconut milk and heat till fully heated
 - Taste to see if you need any more spices.
 - Serve with a ¼ pita bread.
