Book Week
We won the best display in the Junior school!
Students put in lots of effort in their costumes on the dress up day. We had Harry Potters, Witches from Room on the Broom, Ninjas, Paddington, superheros, princesses from Disney and so much more! Students were saying that this was the best day ever!
Junior Sports Day
We participated in 5 games on rotation, Egg and Spoon, Bucket Race, Tug of War, Tunnel Ball and Bean Bag Naughts and Crosses. It was lovely to see the excellent sportsmanship from all students. They were cheering for each other and were showing our school values RISE (Responsible, Inclusive, Sagacious, Ethical) during the games. Huge shout out to all the parent helpers on the day as well, we couldn’t do it without you!
Other than the fun activities, the students have been learning about addition in Maths. We focused specifically on using the Doubles and Near Doubles strategies. In Reading, the students learnt about different types of words. We looked at nouns, pronouns and adjectives.
