This coming weekend two students from Year 5 and some of our students in Year 3 will be attending a Celebration Mass to receive their sacraments of  Eucharist (First Holy Communion)  and Confirmation.

The Year 3 classes will come together this Thursday, leading up to this special weekend, for Bread Making Day. We ask that you keep the children in your prayers as they investigate the traditions of this sacrament and its significance in their faith journey. First Holy Communion is a time when our students are invited to share in the Eucharistic. This is the part of the mass where the bread and wine become the body and blood of Jesus.

On Friday the Sacramental children will be transported by bus to attend the 10:00am Mass at St Mary’s Church. Following Mass they will be guided through the proceedings for the Celebration Mass held this weekend.

A Note for Parents and Sponsors has been sent home with your child and if you have not received it there is a copy at the school office.
