Please note, that families with a current student at Mazenod are still required to enrol any future Year 7 2026 students by Friday 16th August 2024. 

Parent-Teacher Interviews August 2024

Dates and times for this Semester’s Parent Teacher Interviews are listed below, all interviews are 5 minutes in duration and will be conducted via Google Meet. Your son should be present with you in the interview.

We conduct our Parent/Teacher/Student interviews in Term 3 as we believe that early contact with Parents is an essential element in successful study. The focus of these mid-unit interviews is on feedback and follow up regarding issues that may have arisen early in second Semester study, or in the mid-year reports. Teachers are readily available to have appointments with all their students.  

PTO system will go live to parents on Friday 9th August at 5 pm. You will not be able to log in or make bookings prior to this time.

Date: Monday 19th August

Normal Monday timetable. Several staff are available for an additional interview session. 

PTO bookings for Monday close at 5 pm Sunday 18th August. 

One Session:

2.45 pm – 4.45 pm     

Date: Tuesday 20th August

All classes conclude at 12.35 pm on this day (Normal Periods 1-4 timetable).

PTO bookings for Tuesday close at 5 pm Monday 19th August.

Three Sessions:

1.45 pm – 3.40pm

4.10 pm – 6.05 pm

6.55 pm – 8.30 pm

Date: Wednesday 21st August

There are NO classes on this day.  

PTO bookings for Wednesday close at 5 pm Tuesday 20th August.

Four Sessions:

11.30 am – 1.15 pm

1.45 pm – 3.40 pm

4.10 pm – 6.05 pm

6.55 pm – 8.30 pm

For these interviews, we use the internet-based booking system called Parent Teacher On-Line (PTO) which enhances our communication with families. Using this system, you will be able to book the interview times that suit you best from any internet-connected computer. An email with login details and instructions has been sent to families.

Please be mindful that bookings for the following day close at 5 pm each night the previous day.      Administration staff at the college cannot change bookings for you after 5 pm the day prior or on the day of your booking. You should instead, email the teacher concerned.

Mazenod Literature Festival

We invite parents and guardians to join us with your student for the Parent Breakfast launch of Mazenod Literature Festival. The breakfast featuring a talk, by author Emily Gale, will be held on Tuesday 20th August in the Library before school. Freshly brewed coffee from 7.20 am and talk until 8.15 am.

The Mazenod Literature Festival is an annual event in which the Mazenod Community celebrates our reading culture. We recognise Mazenod student readers and creators with events and competitions. This year, we are fortunate to welcome three distinguished authors/illustrators to our College to inspire our students – Emily Gale, Marc McBride and Mark Smith.
