Celebrating Growth: Welcoming 2024 Preps and Honouring our 2023 Preps

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare to welcome our newest Preps for the 2024 school year, we are filled with excitement and anticipation. These transition sessions mark the beginning of a wonderful journey for our youngest learners, and we couldn't be happier to have them join our school family.

But before we embark on this new adventure, let's take a moment to celebrate the incredible growth of our 2023 Preps. Over the past year, they have blossomed in many ways. Their reading and writing skills have flourished, and they have become confident little mathematicians. Beyond academics, they have also grown in their ability to connect with others and show resilience in the face of challenges.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated Prep teachers who have worked tirelessly to support this remarkable growth. Their commitment to nurturing our students' development is truly commendable.

As we prepare the 2024 Prep students for their first school year, let us remember the incredible journey our 2023 Preps have taken and look forward to the adventures that await all our students. Together, we will continue to inspire growth, learning, and success in all our students.

New Specialist Classes for 2024

We are very excited to announce that we will be extending our specialist classes in 2024.  We will be adding Performing Arts for all of our Prep to Year Two students.  This program will allow students to dance, sing, act and use musical instruments.

We will also be starting a Prep to Grade Six Cooking program.  We are in the developing phase of converting a double portable to have a purpose built kitchen so all of our students get to explore and hopefully develop a love for cooking.  Fingers crossed they may be able to cook a few dinners for the family too!

We are looking for a keen teacher to teach these classes so if you know of any teachers who are stars in the kitchen and have a passion for supporting students please let them know to contact the school.

Warm regards,

Chris Short
