Principal's Report

 Acting Principal - Matt Saunders

Acting AP - Nat Harvey

Term 4 continues

We are moving on through term 4, the weather is beginning to heat up and it is important that we prepare our little people for success. Please continue to ensure that your child has their water bottle filled with water to stay hydrated throughout the day and a hat to stay sunsmart when outside at play.

Cricket Pitch Installation

We have been fortunate to receive a grant from the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund to install a new cricket pitch at our school.

Stage 1 of the install is complete with the concrete slab placed in the middle of our oval. Stage 2 will see new soil added to create smooth surrounding grass areas to the pitch. Stage 3 will see synthetic grass added to the top of the concrete to complete the installation.

We look forward to the use of our cricket pitch once complete. Thank you to Brett Mundie for his work in coordinating this great addition to our school.

Air Conditioning to our Gym

Over the recent holiday period, we have had new air conditioning units installed to the gymnasium area of The Centre. As the weather increases in temperature, this will increase the comfort for all our community while using this amazing facility.

Whole School Assemblies

All ETRS parents/families are invited to join our whole school assemblies that occur fortnightly on Mondays at 2:30pm. Please enter through the front office of the school and sign in upon arrival.

Uniform

Thank you to our students and the support of our families in ensuring our students are in full school uniform every day. Our students look great in our uniform, and it helps develop pride and a sense of belonging. Uniform spot checks will happen throughout the week.

Black pants and shorts are not part of our school uniform. As part of our uniform policy, all shorts and pants must be navy blue. Students arriving at school, who are not in uniform will be provided with the opportunity to wear school uniform and a phone call may be made home.

Planning for 2024

This time of year, we continue to plan for the 2024 school year. If you have any requests related to your child's wellbeing, please email them to echuca.twin.rivers.ps@education.vic.gov.au. Please note we do not take individual requests for teachers.

We understand that at times families may move for a range of reasons. If you think you may not be attending ETRS next year, please email us as this will help support us with planning for 2024.

2024 Enrolments

All enrolment documents are available to download from our website. You may also contact the school and we can send the information to you via email or the post.

If you know of any families who are interested in enrolling, please ask them to contact the school. Thank you to our families who are getting the good word out in the community about our school, word of mouth is the most powerful form of advertising and consequently, we are fielding an increased number of inquiries about our school.
