Seasons of Creation Art Competition

Last Friday, Year 1/2 Andronaco and Sidebottom shared a lovely prayer for our Assembly on The Seasons of Creation.  Each year there is a new focus.  This year the focus has been the River. Prophet Amos cries out: “But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a

never-failing stream!”  and we are called to join the river of justice and peace, to take up climate and ecological justice, and to speak out with and for communities most impacted by climate injustice and the loss of biodiversity.

Kerry Stone, the Sandhurst Diocesan Coordinator for Caritas and Justice attended and presented all the students who entered the Season's of Creation Art Competition, (Difna Nanayakkara, Ruby Hoare, Grace Weber, Evie Gale, Isabelle Foster and Sigrid Feldtmann), with a participation certificate and Katie Hamilton with a winning certificate in her art piece depicting the Yorta Yorta totem of the long neck turtle in the Goulburn River.

A huge congratulations to all the students who participated in this year's Art Competition.  They had a great response to their beautiful art work submissions.
