Things are becoming very busy in the STEAM room as all year levels beging their main challenge for the Term.

Preps are busy learning about creature features and habitiats.

One's finding about push and pull forces especially in making toys work.

Two's are helping out the light house keeper and his wife to stop the pesky seagulls stealing his lunch.

Three's investing how to create a device to lift heavy objects up in the air.

Four's are designing mini golf courses to code the Sphero Bolts through.

Five's are learning about stop motion movie making and developing their patience along the way.

Sixes' are busy learning how to be soft toys makers by sewing a surprise for a little friend.

Here are a couple of information videos to learn how to thread a needle, tie a good knot and create a blanket stitch for them to practise! Please note the knot tying video does not have sound.
