Benefits of performing in musical ensembles

Ensemble participation is aimed at educating the whole student and has great benefit for boys, including:

• Social and emotional well-being
• Teamwork
• Watching a conductor
• Reinforcing what is learnt in private lessons
• Sense of achievement
• Organisation
• Inspiration from other musicians
• Make friends and build networks

During Semester 2, there will be an opportunity for Year 7 music students to join an ensemble.
