Study Skills Family Evening

The Study Skills Family Evening last Monday offered an invaluable opportunity for parents and students to collaborate in enhancing academic success. Through interactive workshops and discussions, families gain insights into effective study habits, time management techniques, and strategies for academic achievement. This annual event fosters a supportive environment where parents can actively engage in their child's learning journey, reinforcing skills that promote lifelong learning and self-improvement. Thanks to Dr Matt Fyfield (Deputy Principal Learning & Teaching), for cultivating a culture of education and empowerment, laying the foundation for future success.

Year 7 Mother-Female Mentor/Son Time & Space Evening

The Year 7 Mother/Son Time & Space evening is a cherished tradition that fosters bonding and creates lasting memories. Held annually, this event provides an opportunity for mothers/female mentors and their sons to connect in a meaningful way, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. From engaging activities to heartfelt conversations, the evening was filled with laughter, love, and shared experiences. It offers a space for both mothers/female mentors and sons to appreciate each other's company, strengthen their relationship, and build a foundation of mutual understanding and support that will endure beyond the event itself.

Mother's Day

We remember mothers in a special way next weekend. As a lead up to Mothers’ Day several Mums will join us for Mothers’ Day Mass in the College Chapel. After Mass our guests will enjoy breakfast with their sons. The annual Mothers’ Day Dinner is planned for night Friday May 10 at the Mulgrave Country Club. It can be easy to take our mothers for granted and forget to acknowledge their love and support. There is an unconditional love that a mum has towards her children. Now more than ever, women and men need to work together to produce compassionate young men who are going to make a better world for all. So let us pray for our mothers and find some way to make sure they always feel appreciated.

All the best,
