Principal's Message
Mrs Ameera Hassanein
Our commitment to uninterrupted learning remains steadfast, even when faced with challenges such as staff absences. However, it's important to acknowledge that there are times when the absence of a teacher cannot be immediately resolved by the agency due to their own shortages of staff.
In such situations, we may need to split children across other year levels temporarily. This is not our preferred option, but it allows us to maintain continuity in learning while we work to address staffing issues.
Please rest assured that we are dedicated to minimising disruptions to your child's education to the best of our abilities. Your understanding and support during these times are greatly appreciated as we navigate through these challenges together.
Staffing
I want to take a moment to thank Yurani for her contributions to our school. Yurani will be moving on to another school, and her last day with us will be Wednesday, May 15th. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors. As we bid farewell to Yurani, we also want to announce that we will be advertising for a new classroom teacher position. We will be conducting interviews in the interim period to fill this vacancy.
School Nurse- Monday 13th April
We are pleased to inform you about our dedicated school nurse service, which offers valuable support to our students, parents, and teachers completely free of charge.
Our school nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our school community. They are available to provide assistance, advice, and care to students whenever needed. Additionally, the nurse conducts free hearing and sight tests for students, helping to identify any potential issues early on and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in their learning environment.
We encourage you to take advantage of this valuable resource and reach out to our school nurse if you have any concerns about your child's health or well-being. Together, we can work towards creating a safe and healthy environment for all our students.
