Wellbeing Groups

As part of our ongoing approach to student wellbeing, we will be facilitating wellbeing groups with small groups of students each week at school.

Our aim is to provide the opportunity for your child to feel safe, comfortable, happy and supported in the school setting by engaging in small groups discussions and activities to further support their social and emotional development.

Students participate in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) sessions as a part of their weekly class timetable and the groups are an extension of that learning - Social Emotional Learning is the process where we use our knowledge, attitudes and skills to understand and manage our emotions, set and achieve positive goals, demonstrate empathy for others, build and cultivate positive relationships, make responsible decisions, and deal with interpersonal situations effectively.

If you feel that this is something that your child would benefit from please contact your child’s classroom teacher.
