Dear Sacred Heart Families & Friends,
As we move through the month of May, it is important to reflect on the special significance it holds within the Catholic Church as the month of Mary. This month offers us an opportunity to reflect on Mary's role in our faith journey and to deepen our relationship with her as the mother of Jesus.
Throughout history, Mary has been revered as a model of faith, humility and love. Her unconditional "yes" to God's plan is an inspiration for us to be open to God's will in our lives, even when it may be challenging or unclear.
During this month, I encourage our school community to take a moment each day to offer a prayer to our Mary, the mother of Jesus. Just as she cared for Jesus with a mother's love, she continues to watch over and guide us with that same maternal care. As a school community, we can strive to emulate Mary's virtues of faith, love and service in all that we do.
This Sunday we celebrate Mother's Day. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our mothers, grandmothers, aunts and special mother figures a very Happy Mother's Day. May you know the love and warmth of those who love and appreciate you for all you do. Have a wonderful day and we look forward to seeing you at our special school celebration on Monday morning,
I remain yours in faith and gratitude,
Kaylene Carlin

Unfortunately there have been a number of people parking illegally around the school, particularly at pick up time. I urge all parents/carers to drive and park safely near the school, obey the parking signs eg not parking in No Standing zones, across driveways etc.
It is important that the children are safe at these times and use the crossings in both streets. There have been a few near misses recently and we do not want anyone to get hurt as a result of not taking the time to model road safe behaviours to the children.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
