Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church.

St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parish's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Dear Families and Friends,

Welcome to Term Two!

Swimming has started and the countdown to Year 5/6 Camp (7 more school days) and the construction of the new playground (14 more school days) has commenced.

This term we are focusing on sustainability and reducing the amount of waste we generate at school. We have started Waste Free Wednesdays, a day in which we encourage all students to bring their lunch and snacks in reusable containers. Classes are competing in the challenge and we are going to celebrate the class with the smallest amount of waste each week.

On Tuesday we held a very moving ANZAC Day Service to remember all those who have fought for our amazing country. We prayed for peace and harmony in our world and paused to think of those in areas of conflict around the world.

Over recent times there has been a number of distressing local and global events that we and our young people have been exposed to. Sometimes, unwillingly we and children observe distressing content online.  I have added a link below with some advice for parent and carers.

This is a timely reminder that students should not be accessing social media platforms when they are under age recommendation limits.

For more infrmation on how to keep your child safe online please use this link to the

St Anthony's Online Safety Hub.
