Principals Message
Welcome Kylie Mann, Our New First Aid Officer!
We're thrilled to welcome Kylie Mann as Trafalgar Primary School's new First Aid Officer!
Kylie brings a wealth of experience and a familiar face to our school community.
Many of you may know Kylie already, as she grew up right here in Trafalgar and even attended Trafalgar Primary as a student herself!
Kylie has dedicated her career to supporting the well-being of children and adults within our community. Most recently, she served as a team leader for the NDIS program at Workforce Plus in Warragul. In this role, she worked closely with children, teenagers, and adults with disabilities, helping them meet their physical and mental health needs.
She has previously worked in Supported Independent Living, ensuring those needing assistance can maintain a safe and fulfilling life. She also brings valuable experience as a First Aid Officer with the Trafalgar Football and Netball Club, demonstrating her quick thinking and ability to handle emergency situations.
Kylie's diverse background in mental health support, disability services, and first aid perfectly positions her to excel as our new First Aid Officer. We are confident that her experience, coupled with her warm and welcoming nature, will make her a valuable asset to the Trafalgar Primary School community.
Please join us in giving Kylie a big Trafalgar welcome!
Student Attitude to School Survey 2024
The 2024 Student Attitudes to School Survey (AtoSS), which will be administered to all government school students in Years 4 to 12.
The AtoSS is a voluntary annual student survey offered by the Department of Education to assist schools and the department to gain an understanding of students' perceptions and experience of school. We value student voice as a means to improving student engagement, wellbeing and quality instruction and will be asking your child about their thoughts and feelings in relation to their school, their learning, peer relationships, resilience, bullying, health and wellbeing, physical activity, and life in general.
ORIMA Research Pty Ltd has been contracted by the department to administer the online survey and will provide support to schools throughout the survey period via a telephone hotline and email.
This year, the survey will be conducted at your school from 6th May until 14th June.
Further information about this survey, including the questions your child will be asked to answer, please visit the department’s survey information page.
If you would like more information, please speak to your child’s teacher, or contact the department at school.surveys@education.vic.gov.au.
