PE/Sport Update

Junior Sport and PE Update

Our junior Sport and PE program has been bustling with activity this year! Last term, we collaborated with Gymnastics Australia and Leongatha Gymnastics Club to introduce our Grade F-2 students to the Launchpad Gymnastics Program, providing them with four engaging sessions. This term, we've teamed up with Football Victoria to offer four weeks of soccer clinics, enhancing our students' eye-foot coordination skills. With such exciting partnerships, our young athletes are thriving both on and off the field!

All of our students put on a wonderful display of their athletic talents, with every single one of them placing in the top 5 of their event.

A very special congratulations go to:

Anzac Day Commemoration

On ANZAC Day our school captains and some of our Junior Rotary Award students met at the Criterion Hotel to participate in the ANZAC Day march and service. Mrs Landmeter and and Ms Ross met the students and they assembled for the march with many other Trafalgar Community and school groups. Led by our school captains, the students marched to the Trafalgar RSL and then listened to and participated in the ANZAC Day commemoration service. Our School Captains laid a wreath at the cenotaph on behalf of our school community to pay our respects.  It was wonderful to see several of our Trafalgar Primary School students in uniform representing other community groups at the service, such as Scouts, Cubs and the Junior Fire Brigade. Thank you to those students who participated.

Naming Student Items and Uniform

We have an astounding amount of unnamed uniform and student items in lost property.

Daryl does a sweep of the yard daily after school and collects all lost property,  more often than not, these are not named, so do not make it back to their owners.

Please take care to name all uniform items and anything that your child brings to school.

Thank you for your cooperation.
