Information from High Schools

Starting Secondary School 

Secondary school emails have been sent home in preparation for high school next year. An online registration of interest form is sent to families of students starting secondary school in 2025 to complete. 

The online form will allow families to tell the department if:

-you would like your child to attend their local/zoned secondary school (find which secondary school is your local/zoned one at find a school)

-you are interested in your child attending another SA government secondary school/s

-your child does not require a place as they will not be attending a SA government secondary school in 2025.

All families will be advised of their child’s secondary school allocation on or by 9th August 2024. You can find more information as to how the transition process works on the department’s website or in the attached parent brochure for students starting secondary school in 2025.

If you are not able to access the online form, or if you need help or have questions about how to complete it, please contact our office for assistance. You must complete and submit the form by 26 May 2024.
