PREP NEWS
Hip Hip Hooray!
This week, we had a fantastic time celebrating Milo’s birthday, meeting all the characters along the way. The students enjoyed making masks, sharing the food they brought, and telling us which character they relate to.
It was wonderful to see the smiles on their faces as they proudly showcased their achievements.
The fun continued with a game of pass the parcel, inspired by a Bluey episode. Congratulations to Caitlin B. and Harper for winning the game!
We hope the students continue to have lots of fun and share their experiences with each other.
Fine Motor Rotations
We've been focusing on fine motor skills to help our students develop strong pencil grips and improve their concentration. The students have been enjoying these weekly rotations and making great progress.
Health and Wellbeing of Our Students and Community
While we love the enthusiasm our students have for learning, their health is our top priority. If your child is sick, please allow them time to recover at home. This ensures they recover properly and don't miss out on our many planned events throughout the year. If you have any concerns about missed work, feel free to reach out for a chat.
Fostering Independence
We encourage our students to be independent by remembering to pack their library and decodable LLLL books. This practice also supports their numeracy skills by helping them understand the order of events and days of the week. We appreciate your support in fostering this independence.
