National Walk Safely to School Day
Thank you so much to all our school community who braved the chilly conditions and walked to school last Friday the 10th of May. We had a total of 191 students who walked to school, which is an incredible number - thank you! An extra big congratulations to 3/4R who had the highest number of students walking to school with a total of 19 out of 24. Congratulations 3/4R!
Soccer Star Academy Clinic
Last week every class at MPS got the chance to participate in the Soccer Star Academy Clinic. We have been showcasing our skills that we have been learning over the last few weeks. Thanks so much to coaches Josh and Daniel for organising these fun sessions for our students.
More Soccer!
Continuing with our soccer skills, all the year 1, 2 and Foundation students, participated in a soccer skills rotation. Different stations were set up and we worked together in groups to complete the rotations. There were hurdles, dribbling, goal scoring and skipping.
AFL Victoria - Lunch Clinic
Our very first lunch time clinic kicked off earlier this week. We were so lucky to have AFL Victoria partner up with MPS. We had a huge turn out from all year levels to participate in our AFL lunch session. F - 2 students participated in a number of different skills and exciting games and year 3 - 4 students played off in a super kick match. Thanks so much to coaches Brad and Billy for such a fun lunchtime! We can’t wait to see them again on our MPS Footy Day in September!
